Manchester City will be looking to secure all three points and get their title challenge back on track when they take on Fulham this Sunday.
City are currently placed 3rd on the league table and are 8 points adrift of league leaders Manchester United. Some indifferent results in the middle of January saw Manchester City’s title credentials questioned by critics, but boss Roberto Mancini is confident they can still be among the challengers come the end of the season. City beat Notts County 5-0 in the FA Cup in a game in which Edin Dzeko also scored. Mancini will hope Dzeko will be able to shine in the premiership and land some silverware for the club.
Meanwhile Fulham have had a great run in recent games that has seen them climb to the 12thspot on the league table. Manager Mark Hughes will be delighted with his side’s showing and will hope they can finish in the top half of the table at the end of the season. With Bobby Zamora close to a return, this is a realistic target for the Cottagers.
