Euro 2012 tickets go on sale on the 1st March 2011 with the opening round of ticket sales running until 31st March. Ticket prices will be revealed when the opening round of ticket sales begins. Applicants will be required to create an account to apply for tickets. This can be done at the UEFA Euro 2012 ticket portal. The ticket portal will experience heavy traffic, particularly in the early part of the month, but don't worry. Tickets will not be allocated on a first come first served basis. The UEFA ticket portal will be open from March 1st to March 31st and tickets can be applied for at any time. Around 1.4 million tickets will be made available for the 31 matches with single match tickets and team and venue specific packages available. With tickets in such short supply and demand and interest in the tournament so high, fan zones are planned in the host cities.
