Blackpool manager Ian Holloway will be absent from the touchline as his side clash against Manchester City on Sunday.

Holloway admitted a Football Association charge of improper conduct in the game against Blackburn and was fined £9,500 as well. The Seasiders have made a good beginning to their campaign having registered 3 wins and 3 losses besides drawing one game. The side will be confident of carrying on the form that saw them beat Liverpool 1-2 prior to the international break.

Meanwhile Manchester City are second on the league table with 14 points from 7 games played so far. Prior to the break, the Citizens beat Newcastle United 2-1 in a game marred by a horror tackle by Nigel De Jong on Haten Ben Arfa, which saw the player sustain a fracture. Manager Roberto Mancini has backed his player although he was dropped from the Dutch side. City were again rocked this week when skipper Carlos Tevez hinted he is ready to quit the game although he did not specify any timescale for the same.
