Rafael Benitez welcomes Tottenham Hotspur to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza for a Group A fixture in the champions League on Wednesday.
The game could turn in to the battle for the top spot of group A as neither Spurs or Inter have lost a game in the group yet. The attacking play of Harry Redknapp’s side will come up against the defensive set up of the Italian league champions. Fans of inter may have been critical of the way in which Benitez has seemed to subdue the attacking prowess of the side since his arrival but in this fixture it could well pay off.
Redknapp is very likely to put Gareth Bale on the wing and we will see the Welshman hammering down the line for a large part of the game. It’s not known whether Crouch will start on his own or if Pavlyuchenko will start with him. Robbie Keane seems to have fallen out of favour with the boss and Defoe is injured. For inter Milito may get the start with Eto’o after reportedly recovering from injury and either can cause the Spurs defence trouble.
