The Champion’s League group G will see Netherlands side Ajax go to Italy to take on giants AC Milan at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Wednesday.
Ajax have to put their four to nothing defeat at the hands of Real Madrid behind them if they want to get anything from this tie. They will be up against an AC Milan team who knows they will qualify if they win at home in this game. Ajax on the other hand would still have to play and win another game to qualify if they beat AC Milan.
At three points behind the leaders of the Eredivisie Ajax have not had a bad season but have only won one game in their last four. Top Striker El Hamdaoui should be able to provide some threat but he will not be able to win the game on his own.
Winning will be made more difficult for Ajax as AC Milan’s top scorer Ibrahimovic is in top form as he has managed to score four goals in his last five games for AC. With lots to play for before the Italian league leaders get a well earned rest this game should be great to watch.
