Wolves will be hoping to recover from a disappointing loss to Blackburn when they take on Birmingham this Sunday.
Wolves lost 3-0 to Blackburn thanks to goals from David Dunn, Brett Emerton and Ryan Nelsen. The loss means Wolves continue to be entrenched deep into the drop zone at the 19th spot with 12 points from 16 games. Manager Mick McCarthy has called on his side to toughen up leading into the all-important Christmas period, which could decide their fate this season.
Meanwhile Birmingham came from behind to hold Tottenham to a 1-1 draw last week. Sebastien Bassong's 18th minute goal had given Spurs the lead at St Andrews, but Craig Gardener leveled things at 81 minutes to ensure that the teams shared the points. Blues boss Alex McLeish will be heartened by the spirit shown by his side over the last few weeks and will hope for more of the same in the coming months.
