Barcelona will welcome Russian side Rubin Kazan to the Camp Nou for a Champion’s League Group D fixture on Tuesday 7 December.
The Catalan giants have been outstanding in all competitions this year having not lost a game in La Liga or the Champion’s League. They are also in great shape going forward and any defence in the world would have nightmares before playing Messi, Villa, Iniesta and Xavi in the form they are in. They took Real Madrid apart last week and despite having already guaranteed progression they will be favourites to win at home in front of their home fans.
Rubin Kazan still have everything to play for as the battle for second is wide open. The Russians have not lost all season in their domestic league either and will be going all out for a win. The only game they have lost was in this competition to the team they are battling for second place Kobenhavn. If the visitors can find room for 25 year old Noboa to play his pressing game from the midfield then anything can happen on the night.
