Both Tottenham and Liverpool will be hoping to collect all three points when they clash at the White Hart Lane this Sunday.
Tottenham will be fresh from a heady night at the Emirates Stadium where they beat local rivals Arsenal 2-3. Goals from Sanir Nasri and Marouane Chamakh had given the Gunners a 2-0 lead in the first half, which was dominated by some sublime passing from Cesc Fabregas. However second half goals from Gareth Bale, Rafael van der Vaart and Younes Kaboul gave Spurs a great win and reignited their push for a top four finish this season. Manager Harry Redknapp will be delighted to see Jermaine Defoe back from injury and could start with him in this game.
Meanwhile Liverpool are also on a high following a 3-0 win over West Ham last week. First half goals from Glen Johnson, Maxi Rodriguez and Dirk Kuyt gave Liverpool a well-deserved win and relieved the pressure on manager Roy Hodgson, who has been in a war of words with the England management after skipper Steven Gerrard suffered a hamstring injury that sees him miss at least three weeks of action.
